Bands Must Be Sized with Marker Imaged in the Same Scan

The following new requirement has been added for molecular weight estimation.

New requirement

The bands and marker must be on images acquired in the same scan for MW estimation.

More details

• Molecular weights that were estimated using bands and markers from images on different scans will not be retained after upgrade.
• Target quantification data will not be affected.

Steps to upgrade

If band molecular weight was estimated using a marker from a different scan, you will be notified the first time that you start Empiria Studio 3.3. If there is a marker on the same image as the bands that you want to size, follow these steps:

1. Review messages in the dialog, then close the dialog.

2. Open the Experiment and navigate to the Assign MW marker page.

3. Complete the steps on the Assign MW marker page.
